Support young adult males to improve their reading, writing, and to do basic numeracy activities. Class held at Hagley College 8:30 am - 2pm. You will be working mostly one on one doing a range of learning activities including reading. Initial orientation training will be given with ongoing support from the tutor.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to support the learners to improve their skills. Annual volunteer training session and end of year volunteer lunch. Free parking at venue. Satisfaction of helping others. Clear police record required.

Good level of oral and written English and basic maths skills. Some experience in working in a classroom or working with young adult males is an advantage but not necessary. Clear Police record.
WEdnesdays 8:30 am - 2 pm or part of that time if you cannot do the full time slot.
