We are looking for two board members who is interested in being a part of the recloaking of the Port Hills (and beyond) with eco-sourced native plants and trees. Specifically we are looking for personal who can assist the trust with fundraising, as well as managing our planting projects. This is a long term voluntary endeavour and requires building relationships with other community and governmental groups, the public at large and schools. We meet once every two months and have a dynamic group of board members of varying ages. We meet every two months for approximately 2 hours, usually at the Rata Foundation offices in Addington but sometimes over at Rapaki or elsewhere in the Port Hills area.
Some occasional committments arise between meetings also. A lot of flexibility.
