ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST HAVE DIRECT PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF MENTAL ILLNESS OR ADDICTION. "Warmline" telephone peer support is a non-crisis listening service to help people work out their own solutions to problems. Volunteers provide confidential peer support (on-call telephone) based on the Trust's Code of Practice which includes attending all training and development sessions. All necessary equipment, including a mobile phone will be provided. Supervision and support are readily available over the phone if needed (e.g. if you take a particularly difficult call).
No specific skill needed as full training will be given.
