Photosynthesis is seeking a talented and creative visual designer to join our team as a volunteer. As a visual designer, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide artists with the tools and resources they need to create high-quality art affordably.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and creating visual materials to support Photosynthesis's marketing and outreach efforts, including flyers, posters, and social media graphics
  • Collaborating with the Photosynthesis team to develop and implement visual design concepts for events and exhibitions
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure that Photosynthesis's visual materials are fresh and engaging
Requirements:
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and inDesign
  • Proven experience in visual design, with a portfolio showcasing your work
  • A passion for the arts and a commitment to supporting artists and the creative community
Time commitment:

This is a volunteering role with a substantial time commitment: around six hours per week. As a Visual Designer at Photosynthesis, you can expect to dedicate a significant amount of hours each week to supporting the studio and its artists. While this is currently a volunteer position, there is the potential for it to become a paid role in the future as the studio secures grants and funding.
