Tutor assistant - for literacy and numeracy class Upper Riccarton - Monday mornings

Assist the tutor by working with learners one on one or in small groups to do basic English language and basic maths. Work with the learners under the guidance of the tutor Clear police record needed for this role. This role will provide you with the opportunity to support the learners to improve their skills. Annual volunteer training session and end of year volunteer lunch. Free parking at venue. Satisfaction of helping others.

Requirements:

Good level or written and oral English language, basic maths skills, tutoring skills an advantage but not essential, compassion, patience, sense of humour, flexibility. Clean police record.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Monday mornings 9 - 12 noon
