Feed patients their meals and provide companionship to the hospital patients. This includes: assisting with daily activities, reading the newspaper, interactive games, arts and crafts, wheelchair strolls, hand massage etc. Orientation and ongoing training is provided.
Ability to speak and understand basic English. Patience and compassion. An interest in working with the elderly. We are a service that is subject to mandatory vaccination requirements. To be able to meet the time commitment outlined.
A minimum of one three hour shift weekly is required. Shifts are either 10am-1pm or 12 noon-3pm.
