Our Knit for Purpose 2026 blanket deliveries have begun! 
Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our amazing volunteers, we’ve already received 3,930 knitted squares, which have been sewn into 113 beautiful blankets!
And thanks to the incredible mahi of our community of knitters and sewers, these beautiful handmade blankets are now making their way to community organisations across Canterbury, where they will provide warmth, comfort, and a reminder of the kindness woven into every stitch.
So far, deliveries have been made to:

- Rolleston Salvation Army – Generation House
- Linwood Ave Community Corner Trust
- Oxford Community Trust
- Selwyn Central Community Care Trust

- St Vincent de Paul, Rangiora
- The Darnley Club
- The Nest Collective
These wonderful community organisations will share our blankets with people in their communities who will benefit from a little extra care and connection.
