Need Our Help Finding Volunteers?

If you are a not-for-profit organisation or project where volunteers are involved, we’re here to help. We are contacted by approximately 250 new volunteers each month, all looking for a suitable role.

You need to be a Volunteering Canterbury member to access our recruitment service. If you have not yet registered, you can find out more about Becoming a Member or download our Application for Membership.

Once you are signed up as a member you can log into our Database at your convenience. Learn how to navigate the system with our How-to Guide, read our Top 10 Tips for Advertising Volunteer Roles, and keep track of your volunteers across all your volunteer roles.

If your organisation is a member and you haven’t used our volunteer matching database before, or you have questions, please contact us.

In New Zealand 28% of the population volunteer at 114,110 non-profit organisations.

Looking for Support?

As part of our Tautoko Network we offer regular network meetings and workshops, typically with expert external speakers, relevant to volunteer management and the latest volunteering trends.

These meetings offer peer-to-peer support, and access to our network of experienced people willing to share their experience and knowledge. Whatever issues you face, it’s good to know you’re not alone.

Please see Events for details of Workshops and Network meetings, or please contact us for further information.
