Need Our Help Finding Volunteers?

If you are a not-for-profit organisation or project where volunteers are involved, we’re here to help. We are contacted by approximately 250 new volunteers each month, all looking for a suitable role.

You need to be a Volunteering Canterbury member to access our recruitment service. If you’re not yet a member, download a Registration Kit.

If you’re already a member log into the database system here. For help using our database please read our How-to Guide or to keep track of your volunteers and update their progress, please follow these instructions.

If your organisation is a member and you haven’t used our volunteer matching database before, or you have questions, please contact us.

In New Zealand 28% of the population volunteer at 114,110 non-profit organisations.

Looking for Support?

As part of our Tautoko Network we offer regular network meetings and workshops, typically with expert external speakers, relevant to volunteer management and the latest volunteering trends.

These meetings offer peer-to-peer support, and access to our network of experienced people willing to share their experience and knowledge. Whatever issues you face, it’s good to know you’re not alone.

Please see Events for details of Workshops and Network meetings, or please contact us for further information.
