Need Volunteers?

If you are a not-for-profit organisation or project where volunteers are involved, we’re here to help. We are contacted by approximately 250 new volunteers each month, all looking to make a difference in the community.

You need to be a Volunteering Canterbury member to access our services. These membership services include:

  • Recruitment and referral of potential volunteers (including Group Volunteers)
  • Recruitment support, including advertising on our Online Service and wider networks
  • Consultancy and mentorship on involving and supporting volunteers through regular communications, our website and personal contact
  • Access to current Volunteer Management resources and information
  • Professional Development via training and support workshops (lower-cost for members)
  • Access to the Tautoko Network, our unique not-for-profit support and advocacy group
  • Promotion of the benefits and value of voluntary work and volunteer-involving organisations

Looking For Support?

As part of our Tautoko Network we offer regular network meetings and workshops, typically with expert external speakers, relevant to volunteer management and the latest volunteering trends.

These meetings offer peer-to-peer support, and access to our network of experienced people willing to share their experience and knowledge. Whatever volunteer-related issues you face, it’s good to know you’re not alone.
