The Canterbury Horticultural Society has been connecting people to the art, science and practice of gardening for over 160 years. Available Roles:
Climate Resilient Garden Project Gardener
Volunteer gardener required for ongoing monthly working bee. Tasks will include pruning, weeding, bark chipping, propagating, planting, and maintenance. New and experienced gardeners are welcome to apply. All training provided.
Horticultural Workshop Support Person
Support for creative workshops related to horticulture and gardening to assist in running the event alongside the event organisers.
Bot Tots Facilitator Support Person
Supporting the Bot Tots programme run by the Canterbury Horticultural Society every Monday from 9:30am-12:00pm to ensure the children are enjoying the activities alongside their parents/caregivers.
