A Big Shout Out for National Volunteer Week 2023

National Volunteer Week starts today! New Zealand is a nation of volunteers – more than a million of us volunteer, giving our time and energy to make a difference in our communities. And we believe volunteers deserve to be valued and celebrated as a vital part of society.

Here at Volunteering Canterbury, we kicked off the week with our annual Volunteer Recognition Awards, honouring local volunteers from our region, who so freely give of their time and energy for the benefit of all. Congratulations to the 2023 Award recipients!
