We need people to assist with driving duties using either the van we hire or your own car. We provide a mileage allowance for using your own car. As well we want people who feel able to visit elderly members of our community for social reasons or provide transport for them to various appointments as required including medical, social or otheractivities, or perhaps just for walk, or assist with some gardening, or share a cup of tea with them or even walk a pet dog in need of more exercise.
Must be able to understand the elderly, be aware of their disbilities such as hard of hearing or sight issues, physical disbilities and social or mental health issues. If assisting with driving must have appropriate drivers licence.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Normally 1 to 4 hours per event or when avilable depending on the role.
