We are looking for 2 more people who have time on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon between 1 and 4pm and would be interested in either
the science and Rutherford himself or the history and the site of the Arts Centre to be a host for the entrance to the exhibition. Greeting a wide array of visitors and encouraging them to come in and view the Rutherford's Den exhibition. This position is exposed to wind and outside temperatures at times and would require you to be on your feet for the 3 hours. There would be no sales or reception duties with this role it is specifically a meet/greet and welcome role as well as keeping a eye on the exhibition itself. The staff person would be on hand to assist if needed. If there are two keen people this could be fortnightly rostered . Otherwise it would be a weekly role on weekend afternoons. Keen to chat to visitors from NZ and overseas, love of history and interest in Rutherford's science and life. Your enthusiasim is essential . Must be physically able to be on your feet for 3 hours.
