Budgeting Services North Canterbury seeks a new Trustee who is involved in the community of North Canterbury in the areas of Business, Education, Healthcare, Professional Services or another fields involving active community participation. This position offers the opportunity to help lead an organisation providing frontline services to people in need in our district.
Our mission is to empower individuals, families and whānau to manage their household finances through the provision of appropriate services in a free and confidential environment.
Board members maintain a non-judgemental, accepting attitude to all, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion or lifestyle.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in governance or management.
Trustees are not expected to be competent in all the skills listed below, but a qualification/experience at a senior level or having some knowledge/experience in a particular skill in one or more area is preferable.
