The Linwood Te Aratai Foundation Charitable Trust was established in 2018 and changed its name in 2024 due to Linwood College changing its name to Te Aratai College in 2023.
The Foundation's purposes are as
follows:
3.1.1 To promote the educational, cultural, and social advancement of the
pupils of Te Aratai College.
3.1.2 To improve opportunities for the pupils by providing financial assistance
to specific pupils.
3.1.3 To increase awareness of the needs of Te Aratai College within the
community
We are Charitable Trust of seven passionate individuals who desire to support the educational experience of Te Arata College pupils by building a strong relationship with our Past Pupils. This work began in 2018 when the old Linwood College close to be rebuilt and renamed as Te Aratai College. Te Aratai means "Pathway to the Sea".

Requirements:

We currently require the services of a person who is a capable of and enjoys accounting and may be qualified or semi qualified via experience.

Time commitment:
  • 2.5 per month for monthly meeting time plus time taken to prepare the monthly accounts (not extensive due to our young history!)
  • Production of annual accounts - 10 hours approximately
