The goal of the café is to activate the Multicultural Centre as a safe space for gatherings and meeting community’s members. This activity runs at the same time as the Netball Season at the Centre. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to create delicious beverages and contribute to welcoming atmosphere for the attendees. This role is perfect for coffee enthusiasts who enjoy making connections and providing excellent customer service. Through provision of this service, we aim to create an avenue for individuals from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, ethnicities, and walks of life to come together, foster connections, and cultivate mutual understanding.

Requirements:
  1. Basic Barista skills is essential (making coffees with an espresso machine).
  2. Flexibility to work weekends.
  3. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Punctual, dependable, and able to commit to the event schedule.
  6. A team player with a positive attitude.
Time commitment:

Commitment: Every Saturday, from 8AM to 1.30PM
Event Date: 3rd May to 23rd August 2025
