The Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre Charitable Trust is looking for a Treasurer to oversee the finances of the Trust alongside other members of the board. This role is unpaid. The Financial/Office Administrator manages the day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation. The Treasurer role is one of oversight.
Tasks:
You will use your skills to advise and guide financial decisions for the Trust that will enable its longevity. From time to time the treasurer may be called upon to assist in funding applications and reporting.
Along with your treasurer role you will be an active board member guiding a new organisation in long term strategic planning.

Board Meetings are held monthly (every 2nd Wednesday for an average duration of 2 hours) plus other work as required. Approximately 10 hours per month in total.
