What You'll Do As a Literacy Coach
What We're Looking For
• Good computer skills. Excellent spoken English, reading and writing skills. • Must be fluent in English (verbal and written). • Reliable. • An analytical mind, friendly personality. • NZ based
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
A minimum of 3 hours per week, consisting of 1.5 hours preparation and 3 x half hour tutoring sessions online. Prior to that the training is self-access and free.
You must also be able to attend one of our professional development webinars at least once a term, and to meet with the coordinator about the student’s goals once a term as well.
