In life, knit happens, but as a volunteer with Knit for Purpose 2025, you will be stitching something meaningful into the community. So don’t get tangled up in hesitation, this is your sign to cast on with a new opportunity and help make our community better, one stitch at a time.đŸ§¶

Yes that's right, in 2025 we are once again running our Micro-Volunteering Project "Knit for Purpose"! As well as knitters, we are also seeking volunteers to sew together knitted squares into blankets, to be gifted to those in need in our community through local organisations. Knitted squares can be collected from our office at Christchurch Community House, 213 Lichfield Street to be sewn together at your convenience. They can be returned to us any time on or before Saturday 14 June.

Join us and together we can Make Your Mahi Have Meaning, one stitch at a time!
