You will work with a paid co-ordinator who provides weekly programmes of activity and friendship for elderly people who might otherwise become socially isolated. You will regularly attend one of the morning or afternoon sessions helping people to take part in the program or serving refreshments etc depending on your interests. You might even provide transport so that someone can get to their nearest Elder Care Group.
Social and communication skills, listening and compassion. Reliability.
Specific time commitment to be confirmed with the organisation, usually 2-3 hours per week.
