Pathway Trust seeks a volunteer mentor to walk alongside individuals during their reintegration journey back into community life. As part of our reintegration programme, mentors provide support and encouragement to people taking their first steps back into the community after leaving prison.
The Role: Pathway mentors offer genuine friendship rather than expert advice. You won't be expected to diagnose problems or provide solutions—instead, you'll be a 'friend for the journey' who models pro-social behaviour to people who have been shaped by prison life. This can be done through regular catch-ups, texts, phone calls, or shared activities.
Ready to Make a Difference? This meaningful opportunity creates transformative value for both you and the person you support. Many volunteers find their own perspectives enriched through these genuine relationships.
