Perinatal Wellbeing Canterbury Trust Board Member - Trustee

With 1 in 4 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers affected by perinatal depression or anxiety, our vision is to provide support to encourage and grow mentally healthy parents and whanau during the vital first 2,000 days of children's lives.

If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of Canterbury families and have governance skills or relevant experience we need you to be part of our trust board providing strategic leadership.

The board meets bi-monthly for 2 hours and you may choose to hold a portfolio which would involve you in a further 2 - 3 hours a month of support and advice.

In addition you would have the opportunity to be involved in the achievement of the board strategic plan to grow our organisation to meet the needs of the many families referred to us each month.

Requirements:

Passion for the mental wellbeing of parents and whānau.
Relevant governance or strategic experience.

Time commitment:

2 hours bi-monthly meeting in Christchurch.
You may choose to hold a portfolio which would involve you in a further 2 - 3 hours a month of support and advice.
