Reader/Writer Helpers Urgently Required

We have two blocks of exams coming up starting on Monday 1st September.

Co-Requisite Exams - these exams generally take about 1.5 hours (there is no time limit)

Reading starts at 11.20am on Monday 1st September (11 people required)
Writing starts at 11.20am on Tuesday 2nd September (17 people required)
Numeracy starts at 12.00pm on Wednesday 3rd September (17 people required)

Derived Grade Exams 5-12 September - these exams are over two blocks per day, 8.45am to 11.45am (morning block) and 1.20pm to 4.20pm (afternoon block)

This is the number of students who need SAC support Yr 11-13 students:

Friday 5th September - Morning (23)

Thursday 11th September - Morning (6)

Requirements:

The requirements for this volunteering role are:

  • Can read aloud and write in English
  • No previous criminal history
  • Good communication skills
  • Supportive and caring characteristics
Time commitment:

The co-requisite exams generally last for about 1.0-1.5 hours.

The derived grade exam blocks are three hours, but not all students utilise the full three hours.

We ask that people arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the exam to sign in.
