Mahi arohanui o Tamariki Aotearoa (MAOTA)Charitable trust, has created a new market Called Maota Market at Roys stokes hall in new Brighton. This is a new market. We excited to have a indoor market in New brighton. We need a small team of volumters will do a couple of hours each the more the merry really as we got roles for

  • Sausage sizzles team - working in the kitchen and will also give our stallholder and public refreshments
    Market team - this will be to help with planning and laying out the plan of the market as each site is measure out first thing in the morning this is so that everyone has correct allocated space.
    Other responsiblities is to make sure everyone knows where they going and help them with unloading and packing up.
    Making sure everyone is safe - have knowledge of health and safety. And to kniw where the safety locations and exits are for everyones safety.
    We have a kids market so watching over them too..
    Jewellery team - customer service, helping setup stall with our market manager & admin.
    Must have cash handling experience and a little bit of selling skills. Learn as go no experience needed; good for some young teenager who might be looking for retail experience or looking to get more experience in this field.
Requirements:

Open and honest
Flexible
available to support the team for a couple of hours a month on the last sunday of evey month. Or until futher notice.
money handling - Sauage sizzle site, or our Jewellery site
selling Jewellery

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

On the last sunday of each month.
Market runs from 10 to 2pm
Volumteers do need to arrive before 9am to help setup and to help pack down and clean up be gpne by 3pm.
Must vocate the hall by 3pm.
