Volunteering Canterbury (VolCan) is committed to supporting and strengthening the volunteering community across our region. This is an exciting and evolving space to be part of, and your contribution as our Minute Secretary will play an important role. You will be working alongside experienced board members from a wide range of backgrounds. In this role, you will prepare agendas (with support from the General Manager and Chair), take accurate minutes, and ensure meeting records are available in a timely manner and filed appropriately.
We are looking for someone who:
Experience in the charity sector would be helpful.
Board meetings are held once a month (10 meetings per year), and last approximately 1.5 hours each. Approximately two additional hours per month is estimated to be required for preparation and follow-up.
