Enliven Day Programmes—Totara Club and Harakeke Club—give older people the opportunity to connect with others from their community. The members share activities and experiences together. They play table top games, participate in word games puzzles, chair exercises and enjoy a social day out. The Volunteers assist with supporting the paid staff to carry out the varied activities programme. These include:- Serving meals and morning/afternoon teas- Setting up and clearing away activities- Supporting seniors participate in the programme- Friendship and companionship- The Day Programmes are located in Linwood and Riccarton

Requirements:

A kind individual who is fit and has great communication skills and enjoys the company of older people

A Police background check is required for this role.
