This long term position would suit a mature person with good English reading skills, clear speech and an empathy for people. Some computer knowledge may be helpful and your own vehicle is essential. Full training will be given to the successful applicant, with a goal towards selecting older 1940s to 1980s music from our record library and answer listener inquiries over a three-hour shift. An extra hour should be allowed for selecting music from our library shelves, as well as your travel time. On-air shifts span the hours of 8am and 5pm on either a Saturday or Sunday. The music ranges from the 1940s to the 1980s and is suited to a forty plus age group. If you enjoy older music and staying mentally alert, working as part of a team and have an interest in an earlier Christchurch way of life, music and people, then contact us now.
