Volunteer Opportunities

Walking Companion

Accompany residents for walks around the Windsor House complex/gardens and/or out and about in adjacent parks/areas. This will include some of the residents in the Specialised Care Unit (Dementia and related conditions). The grounds of Windsor House themselves are a delightful place to walk. Training will be given.

Requirements:

Good standard of English and genuine empathy for the elderly. You must be reliable and honest as you will be working with vulnerable residents.

Time commitment:

You need to be able to commit at least two hours each week for a minimum of three months.
