Your role will vary from programme to programme but you will be supporting groups of young people with intellectual disability to participate in social, recreational, educational, and outdoor adventure programmes (1/2 day up to 5 days in length - each programme is different!). All expenses are paid by Recreate NZ when on a programme.

Requirements:

Roles will vary as our programme activities vary! You could be watching a movie with the group, kayaking, cooking, playing minigolf, swimming etc. No experience needed, just enthusiasm.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Outdoor adventure programmes - 1/2 day up to 4 days in length - each programme is different!
