Support the tutor by assisting one of her ESOL computing class learners. Volunteers will work mostly one on one with adult former refugee or migrant learners by assisting them with class activities under the guidance of the tutor. Learners are working towards gaining some very basic computer skills and improving their English language skills. There are a range of needs in the class. For some learners, you need lots of patience as the pace of learning is very slow and they need to repeat things many times. The tutor will guide you as to who to work with and what to work on.
Through this role you will have the satisfaction of helping others. We offer annual training, end of year class party and a volunteer Christmas lunch. There is parking available where the class is held.
