You will be invited to complete our online Volunteer Application form and then will be contacted to proceed with our intake procedure. You will need to be able to work independently and as a part of a team. This Centre is a place where staff and volunteers work with respect and appreciation, leaving assumptions about rescue dogs at the gate! Your dog handling training will be part of your ongoing volunteer process.
You will be confident around dogs (especially larger ones) and physically fit and energetic. This role is primarily behind-the-scenes assisting our staff and other volunteers to cater for our dogs needs and keeping the facility tidy and clean.
You will need to be a self-motivated team player and fit and able for the work required, not afraid to roll your sleeves up and muck in.
Weekday morning shifts 7.30am-10am once weekly/fortnightly for a minimum 6 month commitment
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
