Tutor assistant is urgently needed to help Chinese students with English language classes in Wigram - Wednesday mornings
Volunteers are needed to support tutors in ESOL classes Volunteers will work one on one with Chinese learners or in small groups assisting them with class activities under the guidance of the tutor. Generally learners are encouraged not to speak Mandarin in class, but interpretation is needed at times to help learners understand the tutor's instructions. Volunteers need to be able to attend their allocated session each week during term time. The classes are held in Wigram.

3 Quality Education
Mandarin language, reasonably good English language and interpretation skills, supportive, patient, able to use initiative, assertive, some teaching skills would be an advantage but not essential.
At least one session per week for the term: Wednesday mornings
