As Chairman of Enrich Community Chaplaincy Trust, I am looking for two or three new Trustees to enhance the skills of the current Board.
Enrich Trust was set up in 2008 to employ and manage the Chaplains who had previously been employed by the then health Board to provide spiritual and pastoral support to the intellectually disabled people who had moved out of the Templeton Centre upon its closure in 1999. The Trust currently employs three part time Chaplains.
The Trust also owns and manages the Church of the Holy Family building in Kirk Road, Templeton which was the Templeton Centre Chapel prior to the Centre closing.
For further information about Enrich, please see www.enrich.org.nz or contact me via email.
Trust Board members are volunteers.
Requirements for a new Trustee would perhaps be an interest in intellectual disability, experience in fund-raising, building and grounds management experience, previous Trustee experience or even just being prepared to offer whatever experience or abilities you may have.
The Trustees meet bi-monthly at present with the meetings usually lasting a couple of hours.
Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.

Applicants for this role are required to undergo Police vetting.
You can find out more about this process on the Police website:

There maybe times when Trustees are directly involved with vulnerable people, ie people with intellectual disabilities.
