We are looking for new experienced board members to join our team.

Maybe you have held roles on a sports club, school board, other charity etc if so we would love to hear from you.
We are a laid back board, not one that sits in corporate suits. We adhere to all the rules but as our work deals with sad and vulnerable people we like our board meetings to be upbeat and casual. We do stick to the agenda, with mintues and everything is motioned and seconded but we are relaxed in our meetings.
As our team is small it is important that the board members have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of people who have trauma, as these are our clients.
Our management team also consists of members who have chronic health issues so empathy and kindness are important attributes the board members must have. We all help one another when a member is going through a tough
Our Charity deals with youth and sexual harm and we never know our clients names to maintain their confidentiality at all times. We work directly with the Cambridge Clinic.
Please tell us in your application the skill set you can bring to us and why you are applying for the role.
We want our board members to be aware that we are laid back in our board meetings and it is not like a formal business meeting.
We look forward to receiving your application.
We have a board meeting once a month which normally lasts for around 1.5 hours and we are flexible as to the days these are.
We can do these by zoom if a board member cannot attend.
We also like our board members to be present at some of our fundraisers as an active team member so they have a full understanding of how things run.
We operate on a flat management structure where everyone is equ and their opinion matters.
