Do you want to watch New Zealand's top motorcycle riders from the infield? Many of the national title holders are Motorcycling Canterbury members. Our Club is looking for interested persons to train as flag marshals. The club has race meetings booked for March 16 & 17, April 21 at Euromarque Motorsport park at Ruapuna. New season has meetings in August, October, November, and December then it is the NZ Super Bike Series in January 2025. Meeting time is 8.00am usually on a Sunday. A point is allocated to each marshal - two marshals per point. Full training will be given on flags to use and radio communications. Hi vis and wet weather gear is provided. First aid courses are also available. Racing generally starts at 9.00am and finishes about 4.30pm.
Ability to learn the meaning of flags and when they are to be used;
Ability to communicate clearly to the control tower
A love of motorcycle racing
A clean criminal record - all recruits subject to a Police Check
