The Van Assistant is an important role. You are there to walk the client to and from their front door.
This is a fun role and a great way to give back to our lovely older folk in the community. They really appreciate this important role you will play in their lives.
You may be the first person the client sees in the morning and the last person they see in the afternoon.
You will be seated in the rear of the van and will be party to lively conversation from the clients.
Good communication skills
The ability to assist the clients on and off the hoist.
Be reliable and committed.
There are 2 shifts you can volunteer in the morning or afternoon once a week or once a fortnight.
The Morning shift is 8:30am - 10:00am
The Afternoon shift is 2:30pm -4:15pm
