Graeme Dingle Foundation, is running a mentoring workshop and wilderness adventure based program called He Ara Akonga,
The program has spaces for 36 year 10 students. With a career focus, what's next approach. We will run workshops with them and their mentors, also they will all participate in a 5 days wilderness adventure in the Southern Alps.
We require Mentors to sit alongside the students at the workshops to offer practical advice, and help them along this journey
To commitment to all workshop evenings, to complete the necessary paperwork, included police vetting forms.
Able to work with young people at their level without judgement.
(No weekends required)
Two training evenings, two hours each
Six workshop evenings occurring fortnightly. A total of 12 hours.
One evening outing for fun with students.
Graduation preparation and Final Graduation.
Total time commitment of 22 hours.
