Cardboard Cathedral Shop Assistant

You will be one of a team of Cathedral shop assistant volunteers who offer a warm welcome to visitors to the Transitional (Cardboard) Cathedral.

  • Enjoy being with shop customers and other volunteers in a church setting
  • Get some experience in retail - helpful if you are looking for paid employment.
  • Learn more about the Transitional Cathedral - an interesting cardboard building
  • Use your local knowledge of Christchurch when you talk to visitors and share our city with them
    *Work with other Cathedral volunteers in a friendly team and make new friends.
Requirements:

Having some retail skills is helpful but not vital. You need to be a friendly person who gets on well with others .
The ability to speak another language is an advantage.

Time commitment:

Two hours a week / fortnight is helpful for us. We work in with the time you have to give.
