At Hohepa Canterbury we have a very social, friendly guy who loves a good chat! He is relatively new to Christchurch and Hohepa and we are looking at facilitating connections for him. He is into basketball, going to the driving range, checking out vehicles such as trucks and tractors, and farming.
After some time of getting to know each other the volunteer could take him out to explore the city and try new things, such as arcades, bowling, mini golf and going on the gondola.
This could take place during the weekdays (from Somerfield) or on weekends (from Westmorland).
Hōhepa Canterbury is a disability support and service provider offering diverse living options, learning & activity programmes, community participation, and therapies – all inspired by anthroposophy.
