Dame Ngaio lived most of her life in Cashmere and her house is preserved much as it was when she lived there. We are committed to preserving, maintaining and promoting the Ngaio Marsh House and the creative works of Dame Ngaio Marsh. If you have experience working as a Treasurer, or in accounting or finance and are keen to do it for a great cause, then we would love to hear from you.
The Treasurer is also a governance role and it is important that our successful applicant understands the responsibilities that come with taking on the role as a trustee. These include;

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Board Meetings are held monthly (every 2nd Thursday for an average duration of 2 hours) plus other work as required. Approximately 30 hours per month in total.
