PIPS is looking for amazing volunteers who can give a few hours each week, Tuesday - Friday, within school hours. This role would suit someone who has a passion for order and loves organising. By sorting and organising donations, you would be ensuring that items we gift to whānau in the community are of the best quality and meet health and safety standards.
The tasks may change daily and usually include:
● Sorting, folding or organising baby and maternity clothing, bedding or nursery items.
● Cleaning, assembling and checking donated nursery equipment i.e. bouncers or cots.
● Keeping the centre clean and tidy i.e. vacuuming, wiping down toys and surfaces etc.
Training is provided. Ideally, we would be looking for 6 month + commitment but we are happy to discuss this.

A good eye for detail.

Awareness of your own strengths, capabilities and weaknesses.
Effective listening skills and able to follow directions.
Some heavy lifting may be required for this role.
A willingness to learn and receive constructive feedback.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
2 - 5 hours per week or more if mutually agreed. Tuesday - Friday, 9.30am - 4pm
