Gardening Heroes – Outdoor Duties at Rānui Apartments

Rānui Apartments opened in late November 2024 and we are looking for a couple of warm, open and empathetic people to help us keep our grounds looking beautiful. You will have a natural ability to relate well to people be they a patient, family member, or one of our team. Loads of initiative, a sense of humour and bright outlook on life in general along with a strong work ethic will see you fit in with our team well. Our gardens are still very new and we wish to ensure we take really good care of them as the families we serve enjoy our green spaces immensely. Duties to include: -
General gardening duties - watering, weeding, sweeping paths clear
Lawn mowing
Trimming and rose pruning

Requirements:

Love and knowledge of gardening and the physical ability relevant to the task (for example lawn mowing). Our expectation is that you will have had previous experience with gardening or related duties. This position reports to the Huuse Manager and will have most interaction with this team member along with working alongside our Houseman regarding details of tasks.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Depends upon what needs doing and the time of the year – allow 2-3 hours per shift is ideal, weekly, bi-weekly or on demand – we are flexible to work in with you.
