TWA is seeking volunteers to support the work we are doing in the greater Hornby area. We are working with 2 local schools to support children develop and gain new opportunities in the following areas
Development of a veggie gardens in schools
Running a Lego Club for children in schools
Supporting an in-school Construction Club (woodwork) no experience necessary, training provided.
Volunteers to support Reading Support in schools e.g. commit to reading with a child once a week.
Supporting an experienced Drama artist run a weekly school Drama Club.
We are also looking for volunteers to support an adult fortnightly community vegetable group, also run in Hornby.
