The Board Minute secretary role is important to the smooth and effective running of the Board. It involves:
• attendance at our monthly meetings and AGM
• taking the minutes at the meeting and writing these up
• working with the chair to agree the draft minutes are ready for circulation within a timely manner after the meeting and distributing them to the Board and staff
The ability to take accurate and relevant meeting minutes
Proficient use of Word to compile professional looking and easy to read minutes
Access to the internet and email
Previous experience as a Board minute secretary or similar role an advantage.
Attendance at Board meetings - monthly on the third Thursday of each month from 7.00pm - 8.30pm(approximately) and our AGM - annually generally held around August/September.
Additional time, 2 hours approximately per month, to write up and distribute the minutes.
