Social Outings Driver's Assistant

Help assist a small group of older people on outings, collecting them from their homes, helping them on and off the minibus and encouraging them to have an enjoyable morning or afternoon tea outing. This includes travelling with them on a minibus and chatting over coffee and cake at the morning tea or afternoon tea destination. Assist the minibus driver to support the group.

Requirements:

Friendly and outgoing

Police check required for role.

Complete a First Aid course via Age Concern.

Must hold New Zealand residency or citizenship.

Complete a Moving and Handling course via Age Concern.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

To be confirmed with the organisation. Casual or regular times are available.
