ESOL class tutor assistant needed - female volunteer with a kiwi accent needed. Tutor will explain what is required. Regular attendance is needed.
Volunteers support the tutor in ESOL classes and will work one on one with learners or in small groups assisting them with class activities under the guidance of the tutor. Volunteers need to be able to attend their allocated session each week during term time. The classes are held in Upper Riccarton This role contributes to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 Quality Education
Reasonably good English language skills in reading and writing, supportive, patient, able to use initiative, assertive, interested in folks from different cultures
1-3pm Friday afternoons
