By getting involved in this One to One Friendship Programme a volunteer can make a difference in a person's life - just by being a friend. This role is unique and has choice and flexibility. Take a moment to connect with a person with an intellectual disability with similar interests to you. Volunteers spend time doing what they enjoy and are matched with a person who enjoys doing similar things. Training and support will be provided.
No specific skills required - Patience and versatility, with a sense of humour.
You need to be able to give a minimum of one hour per week, days and times are flexible.
