Christchurch Envirokids is a project of the Christchurch Envirohub that focuses on connecting kiwi kids to the environmental community here in Christchurch. We pull from our environmental network of organisations to host collaborative events that are pop-in activities for anyone who would like to, completely free! We aim to spread the word about this programme so the role may also expand to outreach sessions at schools, libraries, or pop-up tabling in malls to showcase our work and draw more kids in on a Saturday.
Experience with children would be ideal, but a passion for the environment, social skills, and a positive attitude will also be just as good!
Creative minds are appreciated to help come up with kid-friendly activities. First aid training is highly valued.
Must be able to get to and from the workplace (full drivers license would be ideal).
Saturdays 10am-1pm
Possible weekdays (Time varies but most likely between 10am - 5pm)
