New Brighton Project is a non profit organisation working at a grassroots level to provide relevant and positive connection opportunities for our community.
We are a small team with a great passion for our coastal village.
We manage a diverse range of creative projects, including a weekly Saturday Market and a community radio station.
We are looking for someone who loves this area and who wants to contribute to supporting our communitie's growth as a vibrant and thriving place to live, work and play.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take notes during meetings and distribute relevant information to committee members.
  • Maintain records of committee activities and decisions.
  • Collaborate with committee members to plan and execute events and initiatives.
  • Attend meetings once a month on a Wednesday evening and contribute input, ideas and feedback.
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Passion for coastal living and community involvement.
  • Good Sense of humour
  • Experience in NGO governance or community work is preferred but not essential.

Time commitment:

Once a month Wednesday evening meetings (approx. 1.5 hours)
Volunteer time with events or initiative's, at your availability.
