Vehicle Leader

As an Orange Sky (OS) Vehicle Leader, you will help us maintain our most important asset – the van! You will help your local team out with troubleshooting any issues or faults with the van and drop-off and pick-up the van for repairs and maintenance. You don’t need to be a mechanic or have in-depth vehicle knowledge, as long as you're willing to give things a crack and help with minor repairs.

A week in the life of a Vehicle Leader may look like:

  • Complete the fortnightly van checklist to ensure the van is always safe, clean, and stocked.
  • Keeping the van cleaned, maintained and coordination servicing and repairs.
  • Supporting the team as the first point of contact to troubleshoot vehicle related issues.

If you are organised, mechanically-minded and enjoy troubleshooting and tinkering under the hood you will be a great fit!

Requirements:
  • Mechanically-minded
  • Enjoy troubleshooting and tinkering
  • Confident in communication technology
  • Over the age of 18 years old
  • Ideally, you will be able to give a regular commitment for 6 months
Time commitment:

Approximately 5 flexible hours per week
